Paint and Surface Polishing

Paint and Surface Polishing

Many different factors affect the exterior details of an aircraft body. As the aircraft ages, it grows the need for paint and surface polishing.

These factors include the effects of the atmosphere (sun, rain, snow, cold air) and mechanical effects, which emerge while washing and processing with anti-fade reagents. As time passes, the body of the aircraft becomes faded and matte.

Why you should consider paint and surface polishing:

  1. Paint and surfaces have a high aesthetic value – it is the main value on which passengers build their impression on
  2. The fresh look of surfaces and paint builds the trust of passengers
  3. A clean surface collects less dirt and stays clean for a longer period of time

There are multiple advantages to polishing paint and surfaces, which help save on maintenance costs. Smooth and shiny paint coatings soil less and maintain their clean appearance for longer.

Polishing paint and surfaces is time-consuming and depends on the condition of the aircraft and the conditions of polishing. 3M materials and technologies are used while polishing – in specific cases the instructions provided by the aircraft manufacturer are implemented.

Important! Achieving a hard-gloss appearance takes a lot of time. We do not recommend polishing surfaces that are originally matte – consider it only if really needed.
